台北市大安區15日晚間發生一起車禍，一名71歲王姓老翁疑在羅斯福路三段，穿越馬路要到公車專用道時，遭一劉姓機車騎士煞車不及撞上，老翁頭部重創，當場沒有生命跡象，送醫急救後仍宣告不治。劉姓機車騎士滑行數十公尺撞上路邊臨停轎車停下來，送醫治療，身上有多處挫傷，幸無生命危險。
警方表示，15日晚間6點50分獲報，羅斯福路三段發生嚴重車禍，趕抵現場，71歲王姓老翁、30歲劉姓機車騎士雙雙倒地，一機車車頭嚴重變形。老翁因頭部受創，無生命跡象，立即送醫搶救。劉姓騎士則是身上多處挫傷，無生命危險。
經過調查發現，王翁原本自東往西方向步行穿越要到公車專用道，南往北行進的劉姓騎士疑來不及煞車，撞上王翁，2人1車噴飛，王翁重摔落地，劉姓騎士和機車滑行數十公尺，撞上路邊臨停轎車才停下來。
